In 2019, 2,321.98 million Indians travelled within India, a growth of almost 25% year-on-year. With more than 130 airports in the country, and so many cities now connected under the Udey Desh ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN) scheme, the civil aviation industry has emerged as one of the fastest-growing industries over the last three years.
